Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you travel ?

Yes! I'm based in Waco, TX and serve all of Central Texas at no additional charge. For sessions further out, a small travel fee may apply. Destination sessions and out-of-state travel are available by inquiry.

2. Do you help with planning our  session?

Yes! I love this part. Every Signature and Legacy session includes a pre-session consultation where we talk through your vision, choose your location, and plan outfits and timing together. You'll also receive a personalized style guide to make sure you feel completely prepared and confident before we ever pick up a camera. For branding sessions, we go even deeper as we walk through your brand story, your audience, and the specific images you need. You'll never show up to a session with me wondering what to wear or what to expect.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Life happens. If you need to reschedule, I ask for at least 48 hours notice and I'll do my best to find a new date that works for both of us. Rescheduling is allowed once at no charge. A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date,  this protects both of our time. If you need to cancel entirely, the retainer is non-refundable but any remaining balance will not be charged. For weddings, please refer to your contract for specific terms.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Yes to all three. Every session includes a fully edited digital gallery delivered online. It's yours to download, share, and keep forever. All images come with a print release so you can print anywhere you'd like. I highly advise against 1-hr print services as the colors and quality will be greatly distorted. Printed albums are included in Legacy and Ultimate wedding packages, and can be added to any session as an upgrade. Additional prints and products can also be ordered directly through your online gallery after your session.

5. Do you have a recommended videographer?

Yes! For videography, I recommend Sudden Joy Creative, run by my incredibly talented husband. Together we bring  the same eye, same heart, same commitment to quality to every project. Whether you're looking for wedding videography, brand video content, or social media reels, he's your person.  Video  is also built right into my Duo packages,   no coordinating two separate vendors. It truly is the best of both worlds.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

During your pre-session consultation, we'll talk through any specific shots you have in mind. I also love when clients bring inspiration images and  anything that helps me understand the  feel you're going for.  I will do my best to accommodate those retest as long as they're within my brand and editing style. I'll always guide you throughout the session so you never feel lost or stiff. My job is to make you feel comfortable enough that the best shots happen naturally even if they weren't planned.


7. Can we meet before the session?

We'll connect before your session to talk through everything — your vision, your location, your outfits, and any questions you have. I'm always happy to jump on a quick call if you'd like to chat anytime in between. I want you to feel like you already know me before we ever meet in person.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

For portrait sessions, maternity, couples, and branding your full gallery will be delivered within 5-10  business days. For the Full Brand Experience package, turnaround is 10 business days. Wedding galleries are delivered within 6–8 weeks depending on your package. All wedding clients receive a sneak peek — a small selection of edited favorites — within 24–72 hours of their session so you don't have to wait long to start sharing. Need your images sooner? Expedited delivery is available as an add-on for an additional fee.
